Horizon Leisure Centres
Horizon is a not-for-profit organisation that provides facilities and activities that are accessible to the community to make life better.
They keep their prices low to encourage regular use and any surplus is reinvested into the facilities to maintain standards, meet customer demands and improve the customer experience.
A community-first brand
Horizon asked us to create two films: one to promote services and their impact in the local community; and a 30 second TV advert introducing their new centre in Guildford. This was a particularly fun project as our very own Scarlet, who’s a member of Horizon, not only edited the films but also featured in them.
Capturing the right content
Filming took place in all three of the centres located in Waterlooville, Havant and Guildford to show the audience the type of activities they could get involved in. We captured live footage of classes taking place and conducted interviews with members to highlight the benefits of signing up. We also captured drone footage of the Guildford centre exterior to show the audience its city centre location.
Significant increase in registrations
The TV advert promoting the new centre in Guildford has been featured on Sky and reached thousands of people in the surrounding area, resulting in an increase in membership sales. Since Horizon uploaded the community film to their YouTube channel six months ago, it’s been seen more than 32,000 times.
