The two minute animation has had hundreds of views on the client’s social media platforms and currently sits on the sustainability area of their website.
We worked with them to identify the style of animation they preferred and how we could incorporate their brand colours, font, and icons within the project. The animation was split into three sections; sourcing, manufacturing, and the final product, meaning the sustainability elements of each stage could be properly highlighted. Tonally, the animation needed to be positive and optimistic, and we reflected this in the reassuring tone used in the voiceover and the upbeat soundtrack.
We went with a flat, 2D style of animation for this project, taking inspiration from provided examples to develop an art style that combined character animation, natural backgrounds and iconography. Importantly, we also incorporated an isometric map to showcase the company’s warehouse, as well as giving the other locations involved in the production process a sense of place.
