We've been in the creative industry for 15 years, interviewed more than 20,000 people on camera and worked with some of the world's biggest brands; we've learned a thing or two.
We're known for creating content with heart. Content that resonates directly to your audience through storytelling, and now we're sharing what we've learned with you
So forget the tech tutorials, gear reviews, and how we shoot content, our new podcast is a reflective, experience-led storytelling podcast where we offer a window into how we treat people, not projects.
Who is the podcast for?
If you’re a founder, CEO, work in brand or communications, or you’re interested in the work that goes on behind the camera, this is one you’ll want to listen to.
What can listeners expect?
In each episode, we'll go beyond cameras and editing to talk about how you can create content with heart and make your videos more engaging. Here’s a taste of what you can expect:
- Behind-the-scenes insights into video production
- The power of video in marketing and communications
- Conversations with clients, collaborators and industry experts
- Lessons learned from real-world production projects
- An insight into our unique approach to content creation
Meet the hosts
Millstream’s MD, Ben, and Filmmaker & FPV drone pilot, Rob, will be leading the conversation in each episode and will be joined by a third member of the team each month.
We have decades of experience in the creative industry with each team member bringing a unique perspective and their own experiences to the conversation.

Our first episode is now live!
Emotion on camera isn’t the problem; losing trust is. When someone gets anxious, laughs, or freezes, the goal isn’t to push harder; it’s to help them feel safe enough to be real.
In our first episode, we explore the types of emotions that can surface during filming and how we manage situations to help people feel comfortable and at ease.
The best content has heart, but never at the expense of dignity.
