Pompey Dialect is a feature length documentary that explores the origin of the unique dialect of Portsmouth.
Ever wondered where the word 'squinny' or 'dinlo' came from? The film was produced in partnership with Aspex Art Gallery and Havant & South Downs College.
During this project, we worked with students from Havant & South Downs College.
We worked with students to train them in all aspects of filmmaking; from research and writing, production techniques such as camera work, lighting and interviewing, through to post-production skills.
